I can’t help but think Charlotte Bronte would have been pleased with the most recent remake of her novel Jane Eyre. The setting of the film is in New York City, atop the World Trade Centers. In 1974, Philippe Petit walked out across a wire strapped between the two towers with nothing but a tightwalker’s pole and his skill to keep him from falling.
